Ok folks, what better time than when we naturally celebrate the light than for all the stuff that has been hiding in the shadows to come out (...racial supremacy, power conflicts, threats and attacks against women, people fleeing into refugee status to save families, selfish ambition, undermining worth and value of ourselves and others, using fear to control or recruit masses...)...so what do we do? Don't get distracted!...there is HIGH importance in celebrating and living a life focused on the Light. Stand firm! And enjoy and encourage the company of others...look for simple ways that you can contribute to the lives around you (i.e. serve, volunteer, share your beneficial gift more fully...), be welcoming and hospitable. ...and this is a huge one...be genuine and authentic in your love for others. And with that said, off to enjoy some personal light time in reading, meditation, reflection. ..
