Success

My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and talents.  ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Do you see YOU?

 Good mawning!

Observation. Do you see YOU?
ToDAY IS a new day. Last day of a treatment I have been doing and grateful for the results.
But how would I have seen the results if I was not paying attention to the improvements?
When we make changes and adjustments in our lives, we should allow ourselves to be a part of the process. Part of that process involves tracking metrics (what did I want to see improvement in?). The other part, noticing the changes and giving them recognition. Celebrating the "wins" or the "absences".
For me it was both celebrating that something was leaving (that only I could notice as it was pain and discomfort), celebrating the mental space I was regaining, and celebrating SIMPLE things I could do again due to the "absence"/improvement of something else.
If you can't notice from within, you will always be pining for a fix outside of yourself.
Yes, there are external tools that can help, but in the end, how you personally observe and create habits for yourself influences how you apply the tools you have.
Pay attention. You are worth noticing and being mindful of.

When you can be in a space to do these things

A memory that popped up from 6 years ago.

Hanging out with Cynthia and family on a surprise vacay for the boys.💕
It's nice when you can be in a space to do these things.... both mentally, physically, and financially (being real).
I am grateful to feel like I am in that space again.
A new season is upon us. Wherever that is for you, where are you at in life right now?

Happy anniversary

 Drops in the ocean...

How deep...how wide...7 x 7...
I know I can love more, because my gratitude to God each day deepens. And with it, my capacity to see our picture together more and more.
I choose you. I choose us. I choose my relationship with God with compulsion and awe.
Thank you for sharing this journey with me 💕 Happy dating/proposal/wedding anniversary 😍

Sitting in the afterglow of forgiveness

 Good mawning!

Today, I am sitting in the afterglow of forgiveness.
It's not naive to forgive.
I trust in the power and wisdom that resides in the Sight of a bigger picture at play.
Allow yourself to love... yourself and others, in all seasons and then the rest becomes more clear...
Peace and love to you and yours 💕

Allow yourself to just enjoy each day and moment as new

#fbf To our summer vacay as a family.

I allowed myself to just enjoy each day and moment as new.
I'm applying it in this very moment as I am listening to the mention of my friend on the radio. Just glowing with joy for her and remembering the fun we shared.
If we allow each moment to be its own, we can reduce much of the stress we experience through anticipating...
It's beautiful how life shows up with wonder in the little moments if we let it.

A 10 year glimpse at the relationships we have with ourselves

 Good mawning!

This pic is almost a 10 year glimpse.
And I was pondering during the start to a new day, I was reflecting on an observation that happens to some in this process of living.
The relationship with themselves becomes more tangible.
It no longer sits as a concept that you brush off and get back into the "doings" of life. It's a continuing conversation with your life partner as you show up in various situations, always together.
The thoughts and things to say organize themselves better and the "conversation" flows more. As one finishes one point, the "other" picks up from their perspective.
This was not necessarily an observation of "myself" in particular. LOL, I keep a "boardroom" to discusses the "haps" of the day to day occurrences.
This is an observation I have been gifted to witness from older and elderly friends, as well as friends I have had that were terminally ill.
And in those you can be graced to be in the company of who minds are sharp and multi-faceted and you'll have to be quick in your witnessing of the relay of processing that goes on and the personal "pats" on the back as they navigate a task or their journey.
All this to say, "Are YOU your own best friend?"
Do you keep GOOD company with yourself? Are you an advocate in your own corner?
DO you celebrate all that you have come through to be the YOU that you are today?
This reminds me of a process in mindset called "Minding the Gap".
Not how "far" you have to go (watch out for carrots on a string and other targets that keep moving), but how far you have come to be where you are today.
In 10 years, I have come a far ways and travelled a path I didn't anticipate, but it was worth it. And it continues to be. Because the relationships I have gained along the way have been irreplaceable, especially the one with myself.

2 things I learned from a simple and well chosen name on a label .

 Good mawning!

Do you focus on HAVING the thing?
I saw this on the shelf the other day, and honestly it made me giggle LOL. It brought back the memories of scenes from the movie in which this relates to and put a smile on my face.
That EXPERIENCE, of seeing the name and having the smile on my face made me then consider that others may enjoy having that same experience and BOOM, the price for it didn't matter as much as the experience I imagined being the result of that purchase. It then became reasonably priced to me based on the resulting experience I envisioned.
I was NOT caught up in comparing it to the others of its kind on the shelf and which had the best (cheapest) price for the volume.
I was MORE willing to invest in the vision I held and the experience I wanted others to have (the same joy that I experienced), than comparing prices and volume.
2 things I learned from a simple and well chosen name on a label .
First...VISION matters.
It sets the stage. It connects you to the feelings, the game plan, and the imagined results. It shows you the other side of your pain and suffering. It gives you hopes and lights a fire in you that your feelings can engage in. It builds up joy and possibility. AND it compels you to want to share it with others.
Second... RESULTS and outcome are what you are really buying.
You don't buy that good looking and expensive handbag "only" because you like it. There is more in the experience of having it you have created in your mind that compels you to buy it in the first place. There is a notable impact you want to express with it. And you can see the exchange in your mind and every time you ponder, look...it puts a smile on your face.
I didn't buy it.
But I did come away with something more valuable than I anticipated. I have a vision STAMPED inside of me for a simple experience I desire to share with friends, and I know where to go to get that very thing in order to do so.
Thank you "Gigglewater." 😉
