Success

My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and talents.  ~ Mahatma Gandhi

20/20 was quite a year

Good morning!

Last day of this AMAZING year of 20/20 ðŸ’– All 366 days of it!

It was a leap year.
It was the first year of a new decade!
It was the year many people set their visions to from 5, 10 and even 20 years ago.
It was the year that hindsight came around to the "front". ðŸ˜‚
It was the year that many prepared for.
It was to be an Olympic Year, and the year of globally celebrating and reminded to practice excellence and achievement.

In this year, "new" became a watch word often used.
In this year, all the baggage you "brought in" is being searched out.
In this year, you get to truly see what under_lying is being used in our western society.
In this year, you were reminded to stay present.
In this year, many eyes were open.
In this year, human connection came to the forefront.
In this year, a foundation was beginning to be set.

In the year to come, your gift of agency is to be applied.
In the year to come, priorities will continue to be set.
In the year to come, a new approach and perspective of yourself is required.
In the year to come, the real estate between your ears (and all around you) will experience an appreciation in value.
In the year to come, mindfulness and observation will amplify.
In the year to come, human and divine connection will authentically and openly deepen and increase.
In the year to come, the basics and core values will be highlighted.
In the year to come, we continue to build....

When did I start with the January Reset?

 Why? How?

When did I start with the January Reset? I actually started back in 2007.
I just couldn’t anymore. After over a year of my body trying to recover from an NDE, C-section with complications, and multiple postpartum recovery issues, I was still carrying around over 80 pounds of extra weight and in a lot of pain.
No sleep, with two young toddlers, which meant no proper recovery time from surgery among other health complications. It was when I knew I didn’t have the capacity for movement or the rest I needed to have enough energy to keep up with two young boys. I wanted to play with them, to tire them out, to be able to even make a meal for myself and the family. But I could feel how far I was away from this vision in my mind.
The boys slept on alternating schedules (they still are not synched up LOL), which meant I spent many nights hanging out with infomercials. And with that, I didn’t really feel like I cared about my health. I knew I did...I even dreamt about it, but when I went to go and move my body, it was HARD.
Can you relate to feeling like you want to do something but feel an inexplicable “force” holding you back?
That was why, in the beginning of 2007, I committed to making changes in the way our family eats. I was not happy in my exercise program as it was painful to continue with, but I did see some improvements in my energy. When I switched up my exercise routine later in 2007 to one that was WAY easier, it made an even bigger difference that set me up for January 2008. And from that point, I haven’t looked back.
The “how” I will share more about tomorrow. 😉
For now, I ask you… ( and I ask myself…) “how much would YOU enjoy the next level of where you want to be?”

A New Year is coming!

 YAY!

A New Year is coming!
LOL a year that is NOT 2020 is coming!
But not really different from years that have gone by where we set plans to do and BE better in the year ahead from what we have achieved (or not) in our current year.
Because honestly, how many people have accomplished all that they wanted to in 2020 or more? According to popular stats, 80% of people in a “regular” year do NOT achieve their goals that they resolved to achieve.
For those of you who have been put into a position to adapt for your own survival and found yourself thriving beyond what you had imagined, good for you!! You are among the 20% of people who DO achieve their goals and dreams beyond the norm.
I would say that I wound up achieving what I have set out to do….beyond what I imagined it would look like. I “felt” like I had given up in January after a serious set back.
And yes, I “think” I kept it simple….my goals at least.
Health: Leaner, healthier, physically stronger, stronger immune system, advancements in healing, consistency.
Career: Launch my coaching platform, Partners
Relationships: Stronger/deeper connection with my core relationships, evaluate circle of influence.
What do your goals look like?
Comment below or you can send it to me in PM if you like and don’t want others to see. LOL you would not have seen this list posted last year from me. I tend to “share” in only in my mastermind groups or in my “year in review” posts. But 2020 was a different year and going forward is definitely going to be different as well.

Thank you 2020

 Good morning!

Thank you 2020💖💖
"You" have opened the eyes of many so that they may see.
That word "may" is never to be taken lightly. It is a word that signifies another's power to "choose". It is choice and empowerment we have been gifted.
Many have felt the weight of disempowerment and oppression this year. What a space to be able to see them both.
2020 vision was part of the theme I walked into this year with. And I will admit, there was a small part of me wanting for others to see more CLEARly the life I experience.
Online viewing and connection, discrimination, etc...as well as being grateful for the impermanence and presence of those around you.
The year to come has "chosen" its theme.
I get to sit with it as I move forward into it and all there is to accept in it.
I am inspired and thankful to 2020 for breaking down barriers and giving me a clear foundation from which to show up in 2021.
