Success

My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and talents.  ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Build THEM up according to THEIR needs - Genshai

Genshai - "Means that you should never treat others in a manner that would make them feel small"

This includes ourselves. Even if we have decided that how we address another is cute and endearing, it may not be a reference that the other finds complimentary.
Years ago, my own children expressed a correction in how they would like to be addressed and they explained what the term meant for them. Granted. From that point on, I use different references that build THEM up according to THEIR needs.
Sure, we want to be "cure" or "casual"... does it imbue respect in the other person?
I was well-built up this week already by just a rightly placed observation and reference. Last week, I felt "small"-ed in the light of a diminutive jest.
What do you use to build others up? I'm off to speak value and encouragement in a few more people today (yes, even at the end of my LONG day LOL).

We ARE richer through the experiences we have

6 years ago this was our backyard and these ladies were our hens.

This memory popped up in our photos and it was an experience that enriched our lives.
We ARE richer through the experiences we have,... that we allow ourselves to be added as value to our lives.
Simply the caring of chickens have invited us into the spaces and opportunities aligned with the lifestyle and vision we hold, as a family, in different ways.
Know your vision.
Then seemingly simple experiences will help in adding deeper dimensions and detail for what will come... how these opportunities connect you. Connects you to the people, resources and awareness needed in the next steps.
LOL all this from wanting to know how to keep chickens. Who would have guessed...?

Is purity and ignorance "better" than experience, knowledge, and wisdom?

 Good mawning!

Is purity and ignorance "better" than experience, knowledge, and wisdom?
I was pondering the increased capacity of gratitude of those who had lived "salty" lives. What they would have had to go through to come to the point of relief and overflowing gratitude which in turn grew their love, joy, compassion, and purpose.
While watching a movie, a child expressed not knowing what being afraid meant. Later on, he was scared by a man in a mask and went running. When he was stopped, he was asked what had scared him. He asked... 'I'm scared? Am I afraid? When he realized he now knew what being afraid was like, he was grateful for his experience and his new understanding. The new knowing brought him joy, knowing that he was now aware of what he didn't comprehend.
Do we receive our experiences with such welcome and gratitude?
Do we express our gratitude of how experience can change us so profoundly?
I'm going into my day a little bit more grateful and willing to be enriched by my experiences...
Have a great day 💕💕

The energy you share out into the world.

 Good mawning!

The energy you share out into the world.
In the end it's the relationship you are having with a thing.
Not only does the nature of the relationship affect your experience, but the energy you are holding with it gets passed on through it.
I've been experiencing many interactions lately that have had me step back into observation mode.
And the thing I have noticed through all is... even IF we didn't "create" the pattern of relationship with the thing we are in engagement with, we DO have the ability and power to decide if we are going to pass it along for others to experience through us.
One dear friend has passed on the huge GIFT and energy of the relationships they hold...with family, friends, connections, resources, money, nature, themselves.... everything!
I am almost brought to tears by how their relationship and serving energy has blessed so much in what seems like a small interaction. They hold their life with high value. They choose to be in the presence of high value. They believe in the value in others and themselves.
And in contrast, others trying to hold control and what seems like upset in their relationships and ready to pass on the same unserving experience to others.
I choose to align with the former example. Being a blessing to those I encounter and whatever I share with others will hold that same blessed and serving energy.
See the blessings...the value...the good in your relationships. Bring the energy of value, of benefit, of uplifting, of nourishment into the things you do and the things you share forward.
What's a relationship you would like to feel more value, respect, compassion, and joy in?
Off to enjoy implementation (application) and integration of this into my life more and more. Every moment is an opportunity to see what good we can add in our lives.

Feeling the power of prayer.

 Good mawning!

Feeling the power of prayer.
This morning I feel more at peace.
I shed tears and wept through prayers of protection and guidance. I was honest with the heaviness on my heart.
In the quiet of this morning, I can see the individual parts of my morning routine and I am grateful for each piece.
I looked at myself in wholeness, including all reflections, and accepted that I can and will move on to my next level of growth.
I accepted all of what felt like unjust persecution and followed in Jesus' example and it worked.
And I guess that has been the part and the "power" that stands out for me most. Even IF I didn't "believe" (because I do allow my belief and faith to be tested...challenged, etc.), every time I APPLY from what is shared of what he said, if gives me the results I need...even in my space of doubt or desperation.
So, I will try and keep in step with the Spirit, knowing that there is much life-giving power to be had and stepped in to... and I am ready (and willing) to dance.

The Authentically You 2022 challenge begins today.

 Good mawning!

It's Day 1.
The Authentically You 2022 challenge begins today.
And I will admit, my morning was not as "on point" as I would have hoped it to be.
After an hour and a half of trying to get something to work or to even find what it was I needed, I got upset.
It may be hard to allow yourself the space, grace, and compassion to go through "messy" emotions, but I did.
And this guy allowed me the space to be messy until he felt compelled to help.
This time, I was even in the "space" to share the process of expression AND the journey of frustration. It IS okay to feel conflicting experiences in the same space.
And in the moment, I was able to gather up the points of frustration and deal with them one by one.
Because for me, I enjoy being productive in learning after my morning routine of hygiene and massage and this was a great "opportunity" to learn from.
So question for day 1...
What is something you do every morning that you know helps you to step into your day?
