Okay...so afro #2 took a different approach to maximize the kindness in the process. And after multiple steps, we went with braids for the next little bit. Protective styles, especially at the "height" of winter weather. The black soap shampoo we made and the oil mix was well received by his hair and texture. Absolutely NOT the same hair as his brother...everyone in our house has a different type of hair.
