Success

My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and talents.  ~ Mahatma Gandhi

"Stuff" happens. We have a choice in how we handle it.

 Good mawning!

Changing diapers... and expecting growth.
I'm glad that my young men had their OWN way of wanting and doing things.
The oldest was not very good at latching when he was born.
My first agenda was to get some food into this baby.
After 20 attempts at latching that failed...this baby decided to lock his lips. He clamped his mouth shut and wouldn't budge😂
So I gave him a little pinch, he cried, and with his mouth wide open, I got him to latch. 😉
It's been a journey of feeding, food, and growth ever since.
He's now our family chef.
But could you imagine, feeding a baby so it can grow, but not expecting it to poop or soil it's diapers?
In our current world situation, I've talked to quite a few people that want the growth and the harvest, but not the other parts of the process.
Ready-made foods, done-for-you this and that, and definitely pleasurable instant gratification.
We have even abandoned much of our range of feedback through emotions and are now in the "works" of reclaiming the importance and familiarity of that space with mental health awareness campaigns.
It's not much different than a poopy diaper. Sometimes "stuff" gets messy, stinky, and difficult to tolerate. It's calling for a change. It letting you know that it's time to move on in your journey of growth and expansion.
But adapting to and getting bitter in the presence of stinky diapers is not the way most of us want to deal with it. We want the stink gone. We want the struggle to go away. We want the pain to stop.
Accept that "stuff" happened in the diaper...yes. And now, let's get a fresh one and change things up.
It doesn't mean that "stuff" didn't happen in the diaper, but it does mean we have a choice in how we handle it.
That's right. It temporary, and YOUR choice is what helps the change to happen, the growth to be enjoyed (fresh and clean), and even getting to the point of expanding beyond the need for diapers.
We all need to eat. We all want to be fed...and we are designed for growth...in all areas.
