Success

My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and talents.  ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I do it for them. Level up in order to be the support they need.

Good mawning!

I do it for them.
Our parents did the best they could with what they had to work with.
And as these boys navigated this life with social pressures along with adversity that neither of us had to go through, I KNEW I needed to level up in order to be the support they needed.
It wasn't out "there" to find. Their stories presented unique challenges that others couldn't really provide the answers to.
So we came together to create a solution that works from the best of the resources we have available to us.
It needed to be simple, sustainable, and supportive.
It needed to transcend ideals and individual expression and still honour our unique perspectives.
It needed to nurture an unquenchable fire and confidence within.
Because...it was hard sending my kids off to school happy and have them come home in tears. It was hard being in public and having masses of people sharing their unsolicited opinions like we were on display for entertainment. And it was definitely different from what I had experienced growing up.
Raising them grew me up as well.
And now they are confident, well spoken, and still playful at heart. Their creativity continues to soar, and their desire to learn, grow, and experience is still fresh and filled with the excitement of discovery. It wasn't without some really rough realities, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
This is not bragging...this is a mom with boys who have journeyed together looking back on where we have travelled and gearing up for the next level and path we will walk...together.
Where we have ventured built us up perfectly for the hope and future we will meet and enjoy. Grateful for all of it as it has offered us great gifts of fullness to live and share into the lives of others. 💖
