I am a driver. For the last 3 years I have been a legal driver. Next year my son gets his learners. For almost 20 years before that I have had a mix of supporters and nay sayers...I have also helped a few of my friends with lessons after they somehow managed to get their license haha.
Thank you to those that had NOTHING BUT confidence in my ability as a safe and mindful driver. And the naysayers taught me something valuable as well....they put more faith in being right and imagining the worst.. than having faith in a positive outcome. They made it very difficult for me to have the space to even believe in myself...and sometimes I let that win. To this day, their belief is still there even though for 3 years it has been a different story...
So before you decide fully that someone is incompetent. ..perhaps you can believe in their fruitful possibility. ..it made a 20 year difference for me
