Why I get up so early in the morning

 Good morning! I get asked a LOT why I get up so early in the morning...

Simple answer...I'm rested and my mind starts going.

SO no matter what time that is at, I "get" up. But actually the process is a little more complicated than that. I interrupt the chatter and busyness that starts to ramp up in my mind....moreso focused on tasks, etc. as opposed to the negative chatter of the past. Mainly, because I want to take that moment to first connect in gratitude and prayer and then decide the direction of how my day will begin.

I shift into excitement...not the bunny on batteries kind that I used to get in the past, but like the beginning of a percolating pot of coffee kind...I am excited to interact...with my family, with others, with the books I read, the garden I water...just excited to receive.

This is why I like to wake up in the morning...it is my most authentic time to BE me...as the rest of the day filters in, it can be a bit different ...with tasks, etc.,but the morning for me is a gift

To all those "others" out there...much love

 Good morning! Most days I scroll through...looking for something to peak through and inspire a pondering to share...yes...I look for inspiration...from human beings! A lot of what is out there right now is about dehumanizing others or referring to them as a thing or number. And then shares about how they struggle to understand how to love...or they share the highlights but not the grocery trips and the simple but life-filled tasks. Well, today the heart of light, joy, and courage inspired me today. Sharing from a deep space and reminding me of not only voices in my head, but the voices of people in my life that didn't believe in me. That didn't stand up for me...and that may never truly know or recognize how much that affected me. Yeah, I have a sidekick-head-voice who is surly in speech, but the most unlikely advocate in my life...wearing a tartan, sword, and war paint some days to make laugh

...and then there are days when I sit with subtle sorrow in reflection for all this "woman" had to go through and still does in order to show up and enjoy with authentic appreciation, all those who are up and breathing and seeing in this new and amazing day with me. To all those "others" out there...much love

Conversation with a fly LOL

 Was sitting on the sofa...looking out the window enjoying the view and thinking about plans for tomorrow. ..when some "one" decided to join me on the sofa and keep me company. Yup...the big BIG fly that has been hiding from me the last few days...chilling beside me on a throw pillow. ..I turned and said "Yeah? We friends like that?" Tell me why this fly decided to wave at me and move closer...LOL

So I reach over, lift the pillow carefully....the fly still chilling like we're besties . I walk and talk to the fly...sharing how it is time for it to come out the house....hasn't even budged. At this point we are outside. ..still hanging out on the pillow! So I whipped that sucker off, sprayed the pillow with some HP...enjoy the sunshine dear fly.

Summer fun with wasps

 Well, as I was moving some dirt in my yard,I dug up what looked like larvae bunched together...about the size of my pinky finger, then a BIG yellow and black thing came out and I realized I hit a wasp nest....NICE!!! (mutant sized LARGE buggers...greeeeeaaaaaattttt!!

) SO I am going to be inside for a little bit until they settle down....and move dirt from somewhere else for now.... #yardwork #hurrayforsummer #bugsbugsandMOREbugs #healthyrespect #catchandrelease?

For 2017 and in entirety. ...

Go beyond the goal of the individual and become the fullness of Self and beyond. God desires to experience itself in fullness.

So no matter what you are made of and come from, what is your choice within Divine expression...? How will you stand and radiate the Glory of God and allow it to flow through and inspire you and others as the continuance of life.....

We must have vision...we must honour life...we must celebrate the facet of radiance that God emits through each and every one... look for the awe...look for the wonder...help it to continue...this is life...unfolding at the edge of infinity and eternity...

What will you be gifted and realize in the unfolding of your infinite self if you do not play in the elements of the unknown...trusting that all will bring you to the fulfillment of your vision...and bring you into the full view of what it is you have always been intended to be....the picture is fuller that your current point of view...continue to rise into Divine perspective.

Help to bring out the infinite in others.

Being MORE than grateful to receive

 Good morning! Yesterday, no matter how hard we tried, there was no way to avoid "making" our youngest cry. For me and the bearded one, it was a great financial and space saving decision....stepping into an upgrade. For our son, it was us giving up one of our family members. Our dining table. We "downsized" it and it allowed us a more intimate setting and oddly enough resulted in a good turn around financially. Now of course, this could be the launching point for him to design a business around making and selling harvest tables in the future

....but in the moment, I chose to bring him face to face with the family that was MORE than grateful to receive the table. 11 KIDS FOLKS!! WOW! A beautiful blended family filled with love with be eating and sharing at that table. It was a gift to make it back from the open houses in time to meet with them

And yes, this table is transitional for us...we love the idea of being ready for welcome and hospitality (and we are with our fold outs), but for now, it is time to embrace the blessings of new and treasure the lessons of the things we let of and move on from.
