Sharing the goodness and be aware and alert today

 Good morning!

And I ask that you all be aware and alert today. Everyday is a great day to celebrate. And maybe instead of just collecting a mass of goodies, how about also considering going to your local grocery store and sharing a donation to the Food Bank. This day can be balanced, fun, and also help to meet to the needs of others. #beconsideration

 Good morning! Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to help others realize, find, discover, see, and overcome in their lives. I would not want to take that joy away from them by doing the process for them or having them do the process for me. #growthisawesome

Multifaceted

I've been given a new platform from which to write and share. Our lives are more that one directional. Our impact goes out like ripples. What ripples do you want your fears to return to you? Allow yourself to be real with where you are at and change the waves you are creating. #weAreMultiFaceted

me: "Receiving what?"

God provides for us in abundance...allow yourself to see how you are provided for in abundance and open up to receiving it. #noneedtoworry

 Good morning! If I could've taken a picture last night (other than the one in my head)...we were practically on the stage...because it did feel like we were sitting in a living room sharing in conversation with Maya. "...a rainbow in the the clouds..." LOVE it!!

In order to lift others up, we must rise up ourselves

Thought from a beautiful discussion I had recently....

We may want others in our lives to do better and to live better lives, but if we stand in the space we want them to rise up to, they can't step into it, because they may see you are already there.

We must then choose to step higher ourselves to make room for those we wish to raise up.

Offer people the opportunity to be corrected and to repent...choosing compassion and love

 “We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people,” Martin Luther King Jr.

...when we choose to tolerate the actions of negativity and destruction and not offer people the opportunity to be corrected and to repent (choose for what is beneficial to themselves and others), we are also at fault. When we choose to love others and ourselves we will promote the building up of one another as opposed to the breaking down of potentially great and awesome individuals.

....my story of racial attacks, group tauntings, segregation, insults, and the like got CUT SHORT!!! I did not feed into it....I did not shift blame....and even though I had very little support...I made a choice!! I honoured my differences and chose to love and to come with more of it and even more.... Not everyone has made that choice in their circumstances, but they had and have the choice. To this very day there are similar situations where I can feel I am under attack and fall victim....but as long as I keep the choice of looking from the other side once in a while, my perspective will remain one of compassion for those that may not fully understand....

(again, thank you Jesus for keeping things in perspective and helping me to keep compassion and love up front)

 Good morning! Great day yesterday focused on connecting, encouraging, and collaborating with women and what we bring to this life we live. Again, a beautiful unfolding of events beyond the vision of what I had planned. I may set the plans, but God has been faithful in surpassing their fruitfulness. Thank you God! #faithinGodsgloriouspromise

I heard a big "THUD"

 TRUE STORY! ....I heard a big "THUD" at the back of my house like someone was throwing something at my house. I waited to see if I heard anything else....then I went to the kitchen window and looked around...nothing...

....oh wait!! I saw feathers stuck to the window. I looked down and saw a small bird on the ground. OH NO! It hit the window!

I ran outside to see if it was okay and I must have caught it on its last breath. It looked at me....and I picked it up, but I think its neck was broken. I prayed to God to help it to heal....I felt my fingers tingle, but the heat from its body slowly faded away. I put it on the grass and went back inside.

As I continued to get ready I heard another "THUD"!! It was another bird! The same kind! Ran into the kitchen window! The other bird was still where I put it, but this time the bird was still breathing pretty good and a magpie swooped down to get it. I ran to the back door and scared the magpie away and picked up the bird. I took it in the house with me, and prayed again. My hand started to tingle again and this bird's neck way not broken. It just laid in my hand and stared at me. I was talking to it and brought it close to the window and it started to tweet back to me. Then its eyes popped wide open and it just looked at me. So I turned it over and said it would be okay and it flew!! All over my house! LOL! When I caught up to it, it let me pick it up and I let it go. Thank God for the first bird to give the second bird a second chance at life. (And the magpie came back and took the other bird....so be the cycle....)

 He's a walking storyteller today....suggested he write it down, but....he's determined to share it out loud...30 mins and still going...gonna need to add a recording device to the Christmas list

Difference between sleep and rest

 So thankful for the sleepless nights that having young children have introduced into my life. I now know the difference between sleep and rest, and now take ANY opportunity to squeeze in a recharge....someday I will sleep a full night's rest, but until then.... #Ilovemeditation

Fill up on giving thanks

 Whatcha gonna fill yourself up with this weekend?? THANKS!! Being filled with gratitude is an awesome feeling that lasts (and doesn't leave you slumped on the sofa)....go for second helpings if you like, it tastes great!
