Our intention as a family to build and foster connection
Good mawnin'!
Setting for family Sunday breakfast before church.
This is not showing how we live day in and day out. This is showing our intention as a family to build and foster connection.
Too many distractions and mental distortions out there have taken us away from core values and the desires of who it is that we want to be in this life.
So we expressed the desire born out of the "problem" of conflict and edginess and we came up with a plan. That was Friday, that got bumped to Saturday, that IS HAPPENING today.
Dropping the perfection and expectation, and showing up with consistency and the pull of inspired action.
What on your heart to change? What do you long to experience? And what small thing can you do now that will help it to happen?
Breakfast is ready!

Letting go...
Good mawning!
I had this image in my head this morning of 3 girls on the playground.
One in the middle skipping while each took turns holding the ends and turning the rope.
When they switched and another was in the middle, they built up great momentum and were all smiling and laughing.
Then you see one of the ends thrown towards the middle, the rope falling to the ground, and one of the girls walking away... off to play something else.
Why this image in my head this morning? When my previous thoughts were around celebrating one's value...
Our contribution matters.
The role we are actively playing in one another's lives has significance and impact.
When we are a part of an exchange and engagement with others, we not only bring "ourselves" to play, we bring our "thought" companion... the one we are in conversation with MOST of the time. The one that knows the items on our calendar, the options we get to choose from moment to moment, and the responses to the situations we experience.
How is that "companion" keeping you company? Are they mindful of your "one another" moments or are they attention hogs, buying up all your focus and drudging up situations in your mind over and over again...
Are "they" celebrating your growth and encouraging you to connect and share with others or are they bringing up and adding to your to-do list constantly?
Share your journey and your thoughts in your one another connections as well. Don't get "stuck" all up in your head...or to yourself. What you have to share can truly be of value and help others in their journey.
Your contribution plays a significant part of something that impacts others.

Meet living with courage
"...Know that fear and overjoy produce a similar response in the body and both (in my opinion) should be met with courage."
It's how you respond to the feeling that makes a difference... #actfromaplaceoflove
