Food for thought or thoughts on food?....




Contemplate on this, if we educate ourselves into how the healthy foods we eat are good for us and help our bodies to function, how much more will we enjoy that food? We will think about (even visualize) how, as we are digesting this food and it is absorbed into our body, it will make us healthier, and even with the visualizing, we are making ourselves healthier as well.

Now for the flip side...if with that information we know about our healthy foods, if we apply the same understanding to the unsupportive and dare I say, "junk" foods we may eat, then as we are "enjoying" the taste of these foods, we are also aware of how they are harming or hindering our health, how much do we really think we are savouring these foods? If we know the negative impact the unsupportive and junk foods have on our bodies, then we can visualize how they are harming us and in that visualization we are harming ourselves as well....

Just a thought...
