What's my secret...?
Over this last year and a bit, I've been asked why it looks like I am getting younger.
Today, the biggest answer came to me...
I'm not crying as much anymore.
Of course there are other things I do for my skin, but truly, the shift in focusing on the levels of MY personal joy and peace, have shifted me away from the heavy levels of crying I used to do.
I would cry from
...being falsely accused.
...feeling pushed to the edges of anger.
...yelled at and discriminated against.
...dismissed and betrayed.
...people going back on what they said they would do.
...severe pain from autoimmune reactions and allergen exposures.
I took so much personally and I was around people who delighted in the "company " of my misery. I didn't walk away from them, I simply sat in the peace and acceptance of my own presence. And then they were no longer in my life.
Sometimes setting a boundary doesn't look like building a fortified wall.
Sometimes it is inviting people into a space... and they may or may not resonate with it.
What space would you LOVE to create for yourself to be in the beauty of?
