Good morning!
YUP! I'm going there....because I can.
You don't have to look at my immediate family and try to make me an "exception" to any rule. I will tell you, the way I have been socialized my WHOLE life AND knowing where and WHO i come from has empowered me in ways that I know many can't fathom.
Currently, I am on a path....a mission as it were, to share from my scientific knowledge and background, as well as life-long and current observations that....you indeed do NOT know what you may THINK you know about genetic phenotypes.
Even in my immediate family, is a wealth of difference in opinion and experience. And because of what my boys, in particular, have experienced, I am now sharing from that wealth of knowledge to simplify, and unify the human experience.
CULTURE is the key. And in particular, it's the culture of celebrating cultures and diversity, and then there is the "culture" of erasing (and even shaming) difference in favour of assimilation and homogeneity.
On a spiritual level, it all comes back down to trying to be unified. But one tends to come more from a fear-based learning, while the other embraces the joy and celebration of the wonders in creation. (LOL very simple definition...I still see "love" in both but again, one is less based in fear than the other).
So try this......try to describe yourself....without using words that describe a country or continent, a language, a religion, or a "colour" or hue.

I'm going to leave that open without plugging in a descriptor or example so that we can start a conversation. I am also leaving the question there so that you can observe how you choose to identify and define yourself.
