It's all preparation: for the next level

Good morning! LOL my boys have been arguing and going back and forth at each other in ways that have made other people uncomfortable in surprising ways. Have you seen Oceans 13? The two brothers? LOL we laugh at the resemblance often...it really does get on your nerves...a bit.

😉 And it's not new. This has been ongoing since they began as brothers....a one year old punching and pounding on his brother and giving him a bleeding nose for Christmas was the preparation of what to expect and the boundaries to apply. And now the "teenage" hormone mood swings...sorry. This isn't new either. The crying babies and the gut wrenched toddlers were just as thrown off until their needs were met and we found out what foods were better suited for them...Almost all the situations and experiences we've had, have "grown" with them and served as tools for learning and growing...
That was the advice we were given by a mother of 5. "It's all preparation" ...The loss of sleep will prepare you for this and that...the crazy poopy diapers that get everywhere or on your friend's white carpet as it shoots everywhere...that will prepare you 😛 . We were advised to take all as training for the next stages in life...it doesn't get worse or better, it just is. And you will start seeing the connections...and then you can use their OWN situations as constant reminders for their own behaviours and choices and growth...and your training becomes theirs and their experiences were your trainings...it's a journey together.
School and going back to school doesn't change how my boys relate to each other as brothers. There has been no mention of school and going "back"...because it's just another way to experience. We put it on the calendar like everything else and just go from there.
LOL however, I guess I should show the older one how to take a bus to get there 😛 ... Bah! He's taken the bus before 😉 ...he'll figure it out 😃
