Drinking it in.
What do I mean?
In this moment, I am reminded of a scripture, of Jesus having a conversation with a Samaritan woman. He shared with her about "living water".
And the word that comes to me is "imbibe".
In the reference I am speaking of, it means to absorb or "assimilate (ideas or knowledge).
But I believe that, when we are gifted in the Presence of one another, we are influenced by their resonance...or even better, the "song" that they vibrate through life with.
And this morning I got to sit down with a long time mentor in a heart to heart chat and truly "drink in" from her journeying through her life. I learned lessons in what she was sharing and "sight" into how she was perceiving that I NEEDED to hear.
All from simply "honouring" the gift of sharing space with her and knowing I would gain immensely....if I "allowed myself to.
And that is what I am offering to you ...if you need. To be inspired and in the space that allows for you to open up and receive the nourishment you deserve and the fullness you thirst for.
My own success is not measured in the same way you would measure yours. And it's not meant to be. YOUR unique life and purpose is here as a gift to you and this world. And it's time for you to connect in with and share it more fully.
